ARONYAN DEFEATS TOPALOV IN THE BILBAO GRAND SLAM FINAL

Six renowned Grand Masters of the world continue competing in the
Bilbao Grand Slam Final Chess tournament.

In the 7th round Levon Aronyan (Armenia) defeated ex-world champion
Veselin Topalov (Bulgaria). Aronyan is currently the third with 9
points. Magnus Carlsen (Norway) lost to Vasili Ivanchuk (Ukraine),
Teymur Rajabov played a draw with Wishvanathan Anand (India).

Magnus Carlsen is leading with 11 points. Topalov is the second with
10 points. Vasili Ivanchuk has 8 points. Anand and Rajabov are at
the bottom with 6 points each.
