"Today Armenian civilization is in the process of genocide, and we do
not take any measures to stop it," said Levon Melik Shahbazyan in a
press conference held on today. According to him Azerbaijan publishes
a good deal of books in the recent years where they try to prove that
the ongoing Armenian territory belongs to them and once were attacked
by Armenians.
According to him soon a street called "Yirivan Prospekt" will be opened
in Azerbaijan. "We need to hold some international wide seminars,
meetings, discussions and not let an Armenian called street occur in
Azerbaijan," he said. He said that in an auction Artsakh carpet was
presented where it was written Armenia as the location, Azeri side
applied to court and demanded to rename Armenia with Azerbaijan,
the demand was satisfied. "So we do not fight for such things, but
we need to," he said.
