SERGE SARGSYAN: THERE WILL BE UNEXPECTED CHANGES IN THE GOVERNMENT

RA Prime Minister, President-elect Serge Sargsyan today refuted the
information that the authorities intend to arrest ex-President Levon
Ter-Petrosyan. According to him, "these rumors do not correspond
to reality." At the same time the President-elect noted that the
suggestion that the authorities "will not dare" to arrest the
ex-President are incorrect.

According to Serge Sargsyan, the organizers of the mass unrest in
Yerevan on March 1 and 2 will stand a transparent trial for everyone
to know about the share of guilt of this or that person. He said
"people will determine Levon Ter-Petrosyan’s fate, since besides
legal responsibilities, there are many historical and moral ones.

Prime Minister Serge Sargsyan declared today that there will be
"unexpected changes" in the new Government. He noted that the new
Government will be "acceptable for people."

The president-elect confessed that he has is not yet decided about
the candidacy of the future Prime Minister of Armenia.

"The formation of the new Government will be my first serious step
as President, and I’ll prove to the public that I’m committed to my
pre-election promises and will be consistent in their fulfillment,"
Serge Sargsyan declared.
