MPS FROM "HERITAGE" ACCUSED THE ASSISTANT OF THE ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER IN UNLAWFUL ACTIONS IN THE PROCESS OF VOTE RECOUNT

Yerevan /Mediamax/. Armenian MPs from "Heritage" party Zaruhi
Postanjian and Armen Martirosian stated in Yerevan today that the
presidential elections of February 19 became the "top of all the
crimes, made by the Armenian authorities".

Mediamax reports that Armen Martirosian stated today that on February
19 in the polling stations in Yerevan N41 school, sealed envelopes
were found under the ballot-box.

"I, as an observer, tried to compose a protocol, however, the head
of the Police Department of Yerevan Erebuni community Avo Avetisian,
together with the employees, attacked me and the journalists present",
Armen Martirosian stated.

The MPs also presented the address of "Heritage" party to the
Prosecutor General of Armenia, the Ombudsman and the Head of the
OSCE Observation Mission. The address reads that on February 23,
in the process of vote recount in 5/27 polling station in Yerevan
Davidashen community, about 50 unknown people "headed by MP Levon
Sarkisian and Assistant Prime Minister of Armenia Levon Martirosian"
entered the territory of the polling station and started beating
the journalists, the observers, proxies and members of the electoral
commission, who were present in the polling station.
