NATIONAL REVIVAL PARTY TO SUPPORT LEVON TER-PETROSIAN’S CANDIDATURE IN PRESIDENTIAL ELECTIONS

YEREVAN, FEBRUARY 13, NOYAN TAPAN. In the forthcoming presidential
elections the National Revival party will support the candidature
of first RA President Levon Ter-Petrosian. As it was mentioned in
the party’s February 13 statement, the decisions of the initial and
territorial structures were taken as basis for that decision.
"We can come out of the extremely hard political, socio-economic,
moral-psychological situation formed currently and achieve solution
of Nagorno Karabakh problem favorable for Armenia only with the help
of a President, who has received national support and has absolute
legitimacy.
Be sure that proceeding from the country’s and people’s interests,
Levon Ter-Petrosian will continue balanced foreign policy, in
particular, by deepening for even more Armenian-Russian mutually
beneficial relations established by him " the party’s statement read.
