/PanARMENIAN.Net/ "The denial of the Armenian Genocide is still a
priority of the Turkish state policy, supported by Azerbaijan," says
the annual report issued by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The state and public bodies of both states implement joint
projects. However, to counterbalance the Armenian Genocide, Azerbaijan
tries to cash in on the events in Khojalu," it says.

"Armenia exerts efforts to neutralize the Azeri and Turkish
propagandistic machine," it says.

The report records the most important events referring to international
recogntion of the Armenian Genocide, including proclaimation of April
24 the Day of Commemoration and Reconciliation by the Argentenian
President and recognition of the Armenian Genocide by MERSOCUR and
the Chilean parliament.

It also mentions the U.S. congressional resolution condemning the
slaying of Agos editor Hrant Dink and calling on Turkey to cancel
article 301 of the Penal Code as well as adoption of the H.Res.106
by the House Committee on Foreign Affairs

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
