OPENING OF "EUI" – EUROPEAN INFORMATION CENTRE IN THE CENTRE FOR EUROPEAN LAW AND INTEGRATION

The Delegation of the European Commission to Armenia is opening an
"EUi" in the Centre for European Law and Integration (CELI). The Centre
was created in 2006 at the Yerevan State University under the auspices
of the EU-funded project on the Establishment of a Chair for European
and International Law and Centre for European Law and Integration at
Yerevan State University and Partnership and Cooperation Agreement
Promotion (ECEILAW).

Agreements will be signed between the EC Delegation, represented
by Mr. Raul de Luzenberger, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., and CELI,
represented by Mr. Arthur Ghazinyan, Director. The event will be held
on November 20, 2007 at the Centre of European Law and Integration
in Yerevan.

The European Commission has European information centres called "EU i"
(former European Documentation Centres – EDCs) throughout the EU
and in third countries. The European Info ("EU i") is a European
information relay set up in a university, university institute,
research institute, professional schools, etc. to promote teaching,
research, awareness of the European Union.
