NATIONAL ASSEMBLY DEPUTIES’ PROPOSALS ON 2008 DRAFT STATE BUDGET SUBMITTED TO ARMENIAN GOVERNMENT

YEREVAN, NOVEMBER 7, NOYAN TAPAN. The written proposals developed as a
result of the preliminary discussions of the 2008 draft state budget
held in the RA National Assembly standing committees on October 29
– November 2 were submitted to the Armenian government on November
7. NT correspondent was informed by the National Assembly staff that
as in the previous years, these proposals are related to budgetary
expenditures.

The 2008 draft state budget will be discussed at the NA plenary
sittings to start on November 12. After the presentation of the draft
budget by the government and an exchange of ideas, the discussion will
be interrupted for at least 4 days. Then the discussion will resume,
during which the government will submit the final version of the
draft state budget revised based on the received proposals.
