ARABLE LANDS OF NUMBER OF RURAL COMMUNITIES OF VAYOTS DZOR HAVE SUFFERED DAMAGES AS RESULT OF HAILSTONE

EGHEGNADZOR, AUGUST 23, NOYAN TAPAN. The roofs of 40 private houses
of the village of Gomk in the Vayots dzor region have been damaged by
the wind and hailstone fallen between 14 to 16p.m. on August 21. As
a result of the heavy rain caused by the hailstone, 16 hectare area
in the village of Gomk and 14 hectare in the village of Kapuyt (Blue)
have suffered damages.
According to the information provided to Noyan Tapan by the Rescue
Service of the RA Ministry of Territorial Administration, the grain
arable lands of 10 hectare surface, 4 hectare areas of land, and 60
hectare pastures in the village of Vardahovit (Valley of Roses) of
the Vayots dzor region have been damaged as a result of the hailstone
fallen between 15:00 to 15:30 on August 22.
