ATOM YEGOYAN’S FILM "ARARAT" TO BE DEMONSTRATED AGAIN IN ISTANBUL

ISTANBUL, AUGUST 7, NOYAN TAPAN – ARMENIANS TODAY. Canadian Armenian
film director Atom Yegoyan’s film "Ararat" about the Armenian
Genocide will be demonstrated at the 10th internationl film festival
in Istanbul, Turkish press reported.

According to "Ankara" news agency, Atom Yegoyan will not participate
in the Istanbul film festival.

The 10th international film festival will start in September. It
has been organized by Istanbul’s Cultural and Art Fund and under
the aegis of Koc Holding. 100 artists from 35 countries will take
part in the event, with over 150 projects of various creative groups
being featured.

To recap, "Ararat" (with some abridgement) was demonstrated by the
"Kanal Turk" private TV channel in April 2006.
