Parliamentary elections in Armenia over

YEREVAN. May 12 (Interfax) – Voting in Armenian parliamentary
elections ended at 8:00 p.m. (1500 GMT) on Saturday.

Some of the opposition parties claimed there had been instances of
rigging. The Central Election Commission said it had received formal
complaints about alleged offenses during voting but that allegations
of rigging in the majority of them had not been confirmed and that
some of them were still being investigated.

A preliminary report put the turnout at 55%. The Central Election
Commission said it would definitively announce the turnout at 9:00
p.m. as
