Azerbaijani FM meets Minsk Group co-chairs, AGO group and Council of
Europe Commissioner for Human Rights

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov had several meetings
in the framework of the 117th session of the Council of Europe
Committee of Ministers, APA Europe bureau reports.

Mammadyarov met with OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs mediating in the
settlement of the Nagorno Karabakh conflict. The Minister also met
with the members of AGO group of the Committee of Ministers (special
group monitoring honoring of commitments by Azerbaijan and Armenia)
and Thomas Hammarberg, Council of Europe Commissioner for Human
Rights.
The highlights of the session of the Committee of Ministers are
Montenegro’s accession to the Council of Europe as the 47th member
and the implementation of the decisions adopted in the summit in
Warsaw. The session will continue today.
Serbia will take of the chairmanship of the Committee of the
Ministers from San Marino. /APA/
