Lavrov To Hold Negotiations In Yerevan

LAVROV TO HOLD NEGOTIATIONS IN YEREVAN

YEREVAN. April 2 (Interfax) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov
will pay an official visit to Armenia on April 3, a source in the
Foreign Ministry’s press service told Interfax on Monday.

Lavrov will conduct negotiations with President Robert Kocharian,
head of the Armenian Apostolic Church Garegin II, and Acting Foreign
Minister Vardan Oskanian, he said.

Lavrov will lay flowers at the Armenian genocide memorial in Yerevan.

He will also deliver a lecture and meet with professors and students
of Yerevan State University on April 4, the Armenian Foreign Ministry’s
press service said.

The 15th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations
between Russia and Armenia will be marked on April 4.
