BAKU: Armenians Violate Ceasefire 28 Times Within 3 Months Of 2007

ARMENIANS VIOLATE CEASEFIRE 28 TIMES WITHIN 3 MONTHS OF 2007

Armenian armed forces violated the ceasefire 28 times during 3 months
of 2007. During this period, Armenian forces fired on the positions
of Azerbaijani Army and settlements, APA reports as a result of the
monitoring quoted the reports of the Defense Minister.

The ceasefire violation by Armenian forces killed three soldiers and
wounded two of Azerbaijani Army. The ceasefire was violated mostly
in Aghdam, Fuzuli and Tartar regions of Azerbaijan.

Totally, 20 Azerbaijani military servicemen died by various causes
in the three months of this year. Three died as a result of enemy
bullet, five committed suicide, two in mine blast, five in conflict,
one in snow-slip, three in misuse of service gun and one as a result
of fire. Two of them were ensigns, one sergeant and others were
soldiers. Following this, five servicemen were wounded in mine blast,
and one soldier during misuse of service gun. Two of the victims
served in the Border Forces, others at Defense Ministry’s unities.

Armenian forces violated the ceasefire 74 times in the first months
of 2006, 220 times within a year. 48 servicemen of Azerbaijani Armed
Forces were killed by the enemy bullet or due to some other reasons
last year.
