A meeting of the Azeri and Armenian foreign ministers with the
OSCE Minsk Group co-chairmen due to take place in mid-September
is set to prepare another regional visit of the intermediaries and
further negotiations, Azeri Deputy Foreign Minister Araz Azimov told
Azerbaijan’s ANS television channel.

"Consultations will be held to discuss the current situation," he said.

Further steps in the Karabakh settlement will be planned at the
meeting, Azimov said.

"The negotiations will concentrate on the main settlement principles.

If any progress is achieved, the sides may discuss further steps,
meetings and regional visits," he said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
