Szmajdzinski meets Armenian Defence Ministry Delegation

Warsaw, Aug. 17 — Defence Minister Jerzy Szmajdzi?ski on Wednesday
met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the
Republic of Armenia, First Deputy Minister of Defence, General Mikhail
Harutyunyan, the Defence Ministry here reported.
The sides discussed questions connected with Polish experience in
the transformation of the armed forces and their integration with
the Euro-Atlantic structures. Members of the Armenian delegation,
on a three-day visit to Poland, expressed interest in the opportunity
of schooling Armenian officers on Poland.
The meeting also assessed the current situation in the Caucasus region.
