On March 9 at the northeastern part of the NKR – Azerbaijani border,
near the settlement of Seysulan, the NKR region of Martakert, the
Azerbaijani armed forces opened gunfire in an attempt to approach the
frontier of the NKR Defence Army. The Karabakh forces answered them
with gunfire. The skirmish resultedin casualties on both sides. The
press service of the NKR Defence Army reminds that despite the calls
of Karabakh, the military authorities of Azerbaijan do not stop
provocative actions which may have a negative impact on the situation
at the border and in the entire region. The NKR authorities informed
the relevant international organizations of the destructive actions of
Azerbaijan and the developments on the line of demarcation.
