The Turkish General Staff, in a strongly worded statement, has once
again rejected claims that U.S. military officials have visited the
Diyarbakir Air Base.

Recent Turkish press reports suggest that a group of twenty U.S. army
officials had flown from Ankara in a Turkish military plane on an
inspection tour of the Diyarbakir Air Base.

The objective of the alleged visit was to discuss possible U.S. –
Turkish military cooperation regarding the worsening Syrian conflict.

Turkish news reports claimed that when the U.S. team arrived, a Turkish
military plane flew a reconnaissance mission over the Syrian border.

Crise De La Liberte De La Presse En Turquie

CRISE DE LA LIBERTE DE LA PRESSE EN TURQUIE

Publie le : 31-10-2012

Info Collectif VAN – – Le CPJ [Committee to

Publication octobre 2012

TABLE DES MATIÈRES

À propos de ce rapport

1. Sommaire

absent.

Nota CVAN : Le Collectif VAN a traduit cet article disponible ICI.

internationale.
