The head of the diplomatic mission of Armenia in Washington is participating in the key conference of the countries of the Western Hemisphere these days, with the aim of expanding the scope of Yerevan’s international partnership and strengthening the observer status in the structure.
From June 21 to 24, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the USA, Narek Mkrtchyan, is attending the 56th annual session of the General Assembly of the Organization of American States (OAS). The press service of the MFA spread the information about this.
Within the framework of this international event, a meeting in a special format is planned, during which the heads of the delegations of the member states of the CSTO will hold a dialogue with the representatives of the countries with observer status in the structure.
At the core of the negotiations and discussions will be the topical issues of the world agenda, as well as the prospects of deepening mutually beneficial cooperation and establishing new diplomatic ties.
