Another PR action at the presidential residence. Opened flights will be re-opened

April 11, 2026

On April 9, information was spread that the President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the delegation headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Yermek Kosherbaev who is on an official visit to Armenia, and during that meeting the prospects of restoring direct flights were also discussed, stressing that this step can significantly contribute to the activation of contacts between people, the development of tourism and the expansion of business ties.

It gives the impression that we are talking about something new, but the government that opens the same factory, hospital and other objects of interest several times and cuts the ribbon, it turns out, is also spreading the same information in different sauces in this matter, trying to once again score points on people’s ignorance.

The point is that tickets for Astana-Yerevan and Almaty-Yerevan flights have been on sale for more than a month.

Moreover, the “Shirak Avia” airline will start operating Yerevan-Astana flights from April 20.
