According to the new calculation procedure, the property tax of electric cars is significantly reduced. The decision of the RA Government has entered into force. This is reported by the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The decision comes into force from today, by which the procedure for calculating the power of the electric car engine has been changed.
It is noted that if the car already has an electronic passport, then the information specified in it will be used when calculating the property tax, and in the absence of it, the calculation will be done in a new order.
In the case of power up to and including 250 horsepower, the number is divided by 1.5, in the case of 251 and higher horsepower, the calculation is made in 2 parts. The first 250 horsepower is divided by 1.5, and the rest by 2.5. Then the obtained results are added up.
