Meeting
Foreign Minister of Armenia Vartan Oskanian received the EU
Special Representative in South Caucasus Peter Semneby. On a press
conference the Minister said that the main topics of the meeting
were the Armenia-EU relations, the situation in the Middle East, the
situation on the Russia- Georgia border (The Upper Lars checkpoint),
and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict. Emphasizing the importance of
fiar and independent elections in 2007, he promised to render any
available assistance.
