In a phone conversation with Armenian Foreign Minister Edward
Nalbandian Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has expressed
condolences over the death of a six-month boy, Seryozha Avetisyan, who
had been injured as a result of a tragedy involving a Russian soldier
in the city of Gyumri.
Sergey Lavrov voiced strong conviction that as a result of a joint
investigation of the tragedy conducted by the Russian and Armenian
sides, and subsequent court proceedings, the person guilty of the
crime will get a deserved punishment, the Russian Foreign Ministry
said.
