HAYKAKAN ZHAMANAK: 239 WOMEN CONVICTED IN ARMENIA IN 2013

According to Armenia’s National Statistical Service, 239 women were
convicted in Armenia in 2013, marking a 13 percent increase against
the same period in 2012, Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
A 41 percent increase was recorded in 2013, compared with 2008. Over
the past five years, the highest number of female convicts was recorded
in 2009 (353), the newspaper says.
