Azerbaijan violates ceasefire 270 times past week

STEPANAKERT. – The Azerbaijani side violated the ceasefire, on the
Line of Contact between the Karabakh-Azerbaijani opposing forces,
around 270 times past week.
On August 17-23, more than 2,200 shots were fired in the direction of
Karabakh positions, and by way of different-caliber rifle weaponry,
the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) Defense Army reported.
The Defense Army vanguard units, however, primarily adhered to the
ceasefire and took retaliatory actions solely when absolutely
necessary.
