KARABAKH OFFICIAL PLEDGES TO REINFORCE BORDER CONTROL

Any attempt of cross-border incursion by Azerbaijan reveals both
the strong and the weak points of the defense, Karabakh President’s
spokesman David Babayan told Panorama.am.

He stressed that every measure will be taken to reinforce the border
control.

“We defeated the same enemy in the large-scale war that lasted for four
years. The enemy begged us for peace on its knees. So why should we
panic? Three people entered our territory, one of them was eliminated
and two were captured,” Babayan said.

The Karabakh official added that it would be naÃ¯ve to think that a
country like Azerbaijan will no longer attempt commando raids. “There
will be such attempts, but they must be – and will be – foiled,”
he concluded.
