SHARMAZANOV: PUTIN’S STATEMENT ON KARABAKH CONFLICT IS LIKE A COLD SHOWER FOR THE AUTHORITIES OF AZERBAIJAN

The statement by Russian President Vladimir Putin on Karabakh conflict
has become as a cold shower for the authorities of Azerbaijan,
vice-speaker of the Armenian parliament, press-secretary of the
ruling Republican Party of Armenia, Eduard Sharmazanov, told ArmInfo
correspondent.
He also added that by his statement Putin again emphasized that it
is impossible to fulfill militaristic plans of Baku in settlement of
the Karabakh conflict.
To recall, during his visit to Baku, on 13 August Putin said that
Russia has been actively supporting resolving of the Karabakh conflict
as soon as possible which “is possible only by political means”.
