ARMENIA MUST RAISE RESTITUTION PROBLEM

In the context of the Armenian Genocide, Ara Papyan, Director of the
Modus Vivendi center, believes that Armenia should raise the problem
of compensations.
The recognition of the Armenian Genocide is not the only problem,
Papyan told journalists.
The 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide will be a better
opportunity for raising the issue.
Papyan pointed out the necessity for a three-level compensation
process: individual compensations, restitution of national institutions
and Armenian churches, as well as Armenia’s territorial integrity.
