ARMENIA’S TOBACCO PRODUCTION CLIMBS 3.4 TIMES TO TO AMD 4.8BLN IN 2 MONTHS

YEREVAN, March 29. /ARKA/. Armenia produced a total of 4.8- billion-
dram valued tobacco goods in January-February 2013, which was 3.4
times higher, compared to the same period a year ago, according to the
National Statistical Service of Armenia.

In the reported period, the number of cigarettes produced in Armenia
accounted to 1 346,2 million, which was 3.6 times higher from a year
earlier.

In February 2013, total of 787,4 million cigarettes was produced,
which was 40.9% higher from January. ($1 – 419.08 drams). -0-
