RAFFI HOVANNISIAN: YEREVAN MAYOR WILL BE A MAN OF THE PEOPLE

“This struggle belongs to the Armenian people, I am only part of all
this,” Heritage Party leader Raffi Hovannisian stated at the rally
in Liberty Square today.
In his words, the people will not take a step without him, nor will
he take a step without the people. “Henceforth not only executive
power, but also judicial power shall be formed by us – the people,”
Hovannisian said.
As for the elections to Yerevan Council of Elders, Raffi Hovannisian
said they will run in these elections after the people come to power
in the capital city.
“Heritage Party will present its list next week: a man of the people
will be the mayor of Yerevan. Yerevan will be returned to the people,”
Heritage leader declared.
