Yerevan/Mediamax/. Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
of the Republic of Turkey, Feridun Sinirlioglu, spoke about the
importance of effective utilization of the OSCE Minsk Group in order
to foster “creative ideas and projects” that will bring new prospects
for Karabakh settlement.

Addressing the OSCE Ministerial Council Meeting in Dublin, Feridun
Sinirlioglu said “the status-quo in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
is unacceptable”.

“We welcomed the latest meeting between the Co-Chairs and the Foreign
Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on October 28 in Paris, as well
as the visit of the Co-Chairs to both countries. This expression by
Azerbaijan and Armenia to continue to work together in order to reach
a peacefully negotiated settlement must be further promoted through
the win-win projects targeting regional integration,” the Turkish
official stated.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
