PAN-ARMENIAN GAMES WORLD COMMITTEE MEMBERS MEET CYPRUS DIOCESE LEADER OF AAC

NICOSIA. – The members of Pan-Armenian Games World Committee, which
started works in Larnaca, Cyprus, have met the Cyprus diocese spiritual
leader of the Armenian Apostolic Church (AAC) Varuzhan Herkelian, later
they laid a wreath in the memory of the Armenian genocide victims.

The delegation also visited the Armenian General Benevolent Union
(AGBU) Nicosia branch, where the AGBU organized a reception.

To note, the executive meeting of Pan-Armenian Games World Committee
started its work on Oct. 5 in Larnaca, Cyprus. One of the participants
is Armenian ambassador to Cyprus Gagik Ghalachyan.

The participants decided to hold the first Pan-Armenian Winter Games
in 2014 in Armenia’s Tsakhkadzor, Armenian MFA reports. The Games
will include skiing, alpine skiing, snowboard and hokey events.
