YEREVAN-STEPANAKERT FLIGHT TO LAST 35 MINUTES

Yerevan/Mediamax/. The Stepanakert airport which is already ready
for operation will be capable of carrying out international flights.
The chief architect of the airport Tigran Barseghyan said today that
“the layout involves solutions for carrying out international flights”,
Mediamax reports.
He added that carrying capacity of the airport makes 100 passengers
per hour and the Yerevan-Stepanakert flight will last 35 minutes.
USD5mln has been spent on the overall works of the airport.
Mediamax recalls that Head of Civil Aviation Department at the NKR
government Dmitry Atbashyan said on September 12 that the airport
“will be put into operation not later than in 2 weeks”.
