MAYOR OF YEREVAN HELD A FAREWELL MEETING WITH THE AMBASSADOR OF GERMANY

YEREVAN

YEREVAN, JUNE 19, ARMENPRESS: Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan held a
meeting with ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Germany
to Armenia Hans-Jochen Schmidt on occasion of finishing the diplomatic
mission. Armenpress was informed from information and public relations
department of Yerevan municipality that The Mayor welcomed the guest
and thanked for the efforts made in the direction of strengthening
Armenian-German relations. “Armenian-German relations have high
level and I hope the municipality of Yerevan in future will also work
productively with the embassy of Germany” mentioned Taron Margaryan
wishing successes the ambassador in his future activities. The Mayor
stressed the importance of establishing relations between Armenian
and German cities.

Hans-Jochen Schmidt sharing with his emotions about Yerevan and reforms
implemented in urban economy noticed that lately active works have
been implemented in order to design the external view of the city.
