Baku – APA. French Budget Minister and government spokeswoman
Valerie Pecresse says it is impossible to pass by the upcoming
parliamentary elections a new law criminalizing the denial of the
genocides recognized by the country, APA reports quoting Armenia
today news portal.
Minister said while preparing a new bill the government will take
into consideration the remarks of the Constitutional Council, but it
is impossible to prepare a new bill by June.
After the Constitutional Council repealed the law criminalizing the
denial of the genocides recognized by France, including the so-called
Armenian genocide, President Nicolas Sarkozy told the government to
prepare a new bill.
