ARMENIAN GENERAL TO BE ELECTED MP, TO RECEIVE POSITION IN PARLIAMENT – NEWSPAPER

YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily has learned from those close to General
Manvel Grigoryan, Yerkrapah (War Veterans’) Volunteer Union Chairman,
that in return for announcing his support to President Serzh Sargsyan,
Grigoryan will not only be included in the top ten of the ruling
coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia’s proportional election
list and be elected MP, but, also, he will receive a position in
the parliament.
“General Manvel said he will be elected NA [National Assembly]
[Standing] Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal
Affairs Chairman, which will enable him to fully dedicate himself to
lawmaking,” Hraparak writes.
