The paper claims it has learned that one of the personal drivers of
Armenia’s Deputy Defense Minster Davit Tonoyan was wounded during a
duck hunt.
The incident took place on November 16 when one of the drivers, named
Artyom Karapetyan, asked the other, named Hamlet Lazarian, for a gun,
in a rapid movement to shoot an allegedly escaping duck.
While Karapetyan was taking the gun from Lazarian, all of a sudden,
it fired and wounded the latter’s leg.
After giving him first aid, they immediately hospitalized Karapetyan.
Further, the paper said that the gun was registered legally, adding
that Deputy Defense Minister Davit Tonoyan was in Kazakhstan on the
day when the incident took place.
