GERMAN TRAVELERS TALK ABOUT ANI WITH HEAVY HEART

PanARMENIAN.Net – German travelers talk about the ancient capital of
Armenia, Ani, with a heavy heart, an acknowledged Armenologist said.
As Armenian Studies Department Director at Salzburg University, Dr.
Jasmine Dum-Tragut told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter, Germans, Austrians
have dedicated many works to Ani, despite the fact that only 5-6
written memoirs have been preserved to date.
Jasmine Dum-Tragut, a participant of international conference “Ani
as the political and civilization center of medieval Armenia” noted
that military officials, physicists, architects, and people of other
professions have written about the medieval capital.
The Armenologist has conducted his research for over a year and is
likely to continue it.
