AZERBAIJAN, ISRAEL AGREE TO EXPAND COOPERATION

Azerbaijan and Israel have expressed their intention to expand
cooperation in economy, trade, agriculture and information
technologies.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov and Israeli Minister
of National Infrastructure Uzi Landau met in Baku on Thursday.
The two ministers stressed there was great potential to develop the
cooperation between the two countries in different areas.
Mammadyarov highlighted the Israeli minister on the peace talks to
solve the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
Landau congratulated Mammadyarov on Azerbaijan`s election as a
non-permanent member of the UN Security Council.
They also discussed the prospects of cooperation within the
international organizations.
