The development of a master plan of the Yerevan Zoo has got under way.
An international expert group arrived in Yerevan Nov. 9. The group
is ready to develop the master plan on a voluntary basis.
The group members are: Haig Balian, Director at Natura Artis Magistra,
Amsterdam Area, Netherlands; Bernard Harrison, the former CEO of
the Singapore Zoological Gardens; Zoo designer David Hancock; Janos
Szantho, General curator at Natura Artis Magistra , Artis Royal
Zoo Amsterdam; Willem Meijlink, Artis Royal Zoo Amsterdam; Bernard
Harrison & Friends co-owner Tina Lim Long; Landscape Architect Thijs
de Zeeuw and Lighting Designer Simon Corder.
