The Compatriotic Union Habousi is pleased to announce the creation of:
This website is dedicated to the memory of the inhabitants of the Village
of Habousi. Located in Kharpert Province, the inhabitants of Habousi were
either massacred or deported during the 1915 Armenian Genocide. The Village
was later inundated when the Keban dam was built in the late 1960’s.
The website traces the history of Habousi contains pictures, written
accounts and videos including a recent trip to the area.
