IRANIAN AGENCY SAYS MAHMUD AHMADINEJAD TO VISIT ARMENIA BY THE END OF THE YEAR

President of Iran Mahmud Ahmadinejad, will visit Armenia more probably
by the end of the year. Citing Iranian MEHR news agency, Armenpress
reports that it was stated by the head of the foreign ties department
of the Iranian President’s staff Mohammad Reza Fareghani.
He noted that within the framework of the visit issues on regional
developments, bilateral economic relations will be discussed.
Fareghani reminded that the latest meeting between the presidents of
the two countries took place during Serzh Sargsyan’s visit to Iran
for the participation in Novruz celebrations.
Mahmud Ahmadinejad was to visit Armenia in June 2011 but with the
mutual consent of the both parties the time of the visit was changed.
