YEREVAN, SEPTEMBER 17, ARMENPRESS:

The Bologna process supposes everyday work in all directions –
insuring transparency, improvement of the credit system, Education and
Science Minister Armen Ashotyan said speaking to Armenpress. He said
today Armenia has issues connected with the expansion of autonomy of
universities. The minister noted that by assuming the co-chairmanship
of Bologna process, Armenia and Poland are working toward conduction
of international educational conferences.

Ashotyan informed that with the assistance of the Council of Europe
international conference on engagement of students, creation of
student-oriented higher educational system will be conducted in
Armenia in November.

“I think Armenia and Poland are not working bad as co-chairs. It may
be proved by the positive responds from the Bologna Secretariat”,
Ashotyan said.

“I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose wars have all been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, literature is unread, music is unheard, and prayers are no more answered. Go ahead, destroy Armenia . See if you can do it. Send them into the desert without bread or water. Burn their homes and churches. Then see if they will not laugh, sing and pray again. For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a New Armenia.” - WS
