FINANCIAL OMBUDSMAN OF ARMENIA UNVEILS FINANCIAL EDUCATION/RAISE OF AWARENESS OF CONSUMERS PROGRAM

Financial Ombudsman of Armenia is all set to begin the deployment of
Financial Education/Raise of Awareness of Consumers program.
Piruza Sargsyan, Financial Ombudswoman, stated that, Financial
Education/Raise of Awareness of Consumers program will offer an
opportunity to have qualified clients in financial sphere and
accordingly support the role of financial mediation in Armenia.
The deployment of Financial Education/Raise of Awareness of Consumers
program will begin from September 6. Financial Ombudsman of Armenia
has selected five target groups, with separate programs for each. This
program will target high-school pupils, students, people with financial
services, elderly people and participants of compulsory car insurance
system. This program is expected to cost about AMD 30 million.
