Senator says US should continue to support peaceful resolution of
Nagorno-Karabakh conflict

Baku 30 June

Senator John Cornyn has said the Unietd States should continue to
support peaceful resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Cornyn, representing Texas, responded to a letter of the US Azeris
Network (USAN) concerning the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

In his reply, Senator thanked the USAN representative for information
on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

`Thank you for having contacted me on the Nagorno-Karabakh region. As
you know, the OSCE is engaged in mediation mission in the conflict
between Azerbaijan and Armenia over Nagorno-Karabakh. The United
States should continue to support peaceful resolution of conflict.

`You can be assured that I will take into account your suggestions
during the discussions in Congress related to the Nagorno-Karabakh
region,` the letter says.
