YEREVAN. – Fifth Armenian National Open Computer Games Championship
held in Congress Hotel of Yerevan ended on June 26.
The Championship was organized by Armentel (Beeline trademark) and
National Professional Cybersport League. It has dual characteristics
being both national championship and qualifying round for WCG (World
Cyber Games) major international championship, first opened in 2000.
The participants competed in 4 disciplines, involving individual FIFA
2011 E StarCraft 2 and command games Counter-Strike 1.6 E WarCraft
3 Dota.
Hayk Hakobyan and Edmond Grigoryan, winners of FIFA 2011 and StarCraft
2 disciplines, will represent Armenia at World Cyber Games 2011 in
South Korea on December 8-11.
