The head coach of Ararat footbalkl club (Yerevan), famous football
player, USSR champion in 1973, Arkady Andreasyan will not be declared
persona non grata in Armenian football, the press service of the
Football Federation of Armenia told ArmInfo.

At today’s sitting the FFA Executive Committee took a decision to
reject the proposal of the FFA disciplinary committee to declare
Andreasyan non grata. Andreasyan has only been disqualified for
10 matches.

The disciplinary committee suggested declaring Andreasyan a persona non
grata after the 63-year old coach hit 19-year old Ashot Arushanyan,
the photo journalist of Totalfootball.am website, on April 23 during
the break of Ararat-Pyunik match, after which the journalist was
beaten by coach’s entourage.
