Azerbaijan, Switzerland discuss cooperation between libraries

Azerbaijan, Switzerland discussed cooperation between countries` libraries.
Director of the Presidential Library of the Azerbaijan President`s
Administration Department Mayil Ahmadov and director of the Mirza
Fatali Akhundov National Library Karim Tahirov have been visiting
Switzerland to discuss cooperation between the libraries of two
countries. The visit is supported by Azerbaijan Embassy in Swiss
Confederation.
Azeri delegation got familiar with Lausanne city and its cultural
places on the first day of the visit, Azerbaijan Ministry of Culture
and Tourism said. A meeting was held at the Central Library in Zurich
the next day to discuss cooperation with Azerbaijani libraries.
The photo of ancient Alban church in Karabakh region of Azerbaijan was
found in the graphic found of the library. Belonging of Nagorno
Karabakh to Azerbaijan is noted in the writing under photo.
The next meeting was organized in Swiss National Library in Bern city
on Wednesday. A memorandum of cooperation was signed between
Azerbaijan and Swiss National Libraries at the meeting.
Azerbaijani delegation has today left for Lucerne city. The visit will
last till the next Tuesday.
