THE VISIT OF THE DELEGATION OF NATO DEFENSE COLLEGE TO THE ARMENIAN MINISTRY OF DEFENCE

On the 1st of December, 2010 the delegation of NATO Defense College,
headed by NDC Commandant Lieutenant-General Wolf-Dieter Loeser
visited the ARM MoD. The delegation, which was in Armenia on a
cognitive-research visit, consisted of senior auditors and academic
staff. The delegation also included a participant from Azerbaijan.
In the Ministry of Defence representatives from the ARM MoD and the
ARM Ministry of Foreign Affairs gave lectures for the senior fellows
of the NATO Defence College. ARM first Deputy Minister of Defence Davit
Tonoyan made an opening speech and introduced the ARM Defence Policy.
ARM Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Arman Kirakosyan read a lecture
on the priorities of the Armenian foreign policy.
Thanking for the warm reception and the lectures and discussions,
NATO NDC Commandant, Lieutenant-General Wolf-Dieter Loeser assured
that this visit to Armenia will promote the deepening of knowledge on
regional security matters and ARM defence policy within the auditorium
of the college.
