WORLD WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP: DANIELIAN AND KAGRAMANOVA DEFEATED

In the first round of World Women’s Championship Armenian chess player
Elina Danielian was defeated by Tatiana Shadrina in 0:2 scores and
was soon left out of the further struggle. Dina Kagramanova was as
well defeated to Nana Dzagnidze. Lilit Mkrtchian and Elmira Skrpchenko
both ended in draw with Zhang Xiaowen and Adela Foisor.

If a draw is recorded, the winner will be defined in tie-break: the
participants will have two sets in 25 minutes+1- seconds for each step;
two sets in 5 minutes+10 seconds and a final set the whites having 6
minutes and the blacks – 5. If again a draw is recorded the advantage
will be given to the blacks.
